I have this pattern
and this pattern
all laid (layed? Katie?) out on my living room floor. Where they've lain (?) for the past 4 nights. With my pins, scissors, and assorted fabrics. Including these screaming-spring Amy butler prints:
As I sit in my green hand-me-down recliner and gaze upon these vast riches without a single iota of sewing lustfulness, I wonder...
Where hath the want-to gone?
Sniff.
Good gracious those are adorable patterns and prints! You will get your mojo back, you've just been such a busy (sewing) bee lately.
ReplyDeleteI'd set them aside and do something else you really enjoy for a little while, gardening, reading, bungee jumping...whatever floats your boat. Give those sewing skills time to recharge their engines. :)
Girl - Our Mojo's must be slumming together ... gotta get them back pronto! I the skirt pattern and the other AB tunic ... just waiting ... for something ... someone ... ME to get off my @#%. Ahh...that feels better. Glad that I'm not the only one in a sewing funk. Wishing you happy stitches!
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just gotta give your mojo a break... But thanks for showing that AB tunic--how cute is that?
ReplyDeleteYou will get the mojo back. Give yourself a couple of days. All those patterns are so cute. I have been wanting the skirt pattern. I made up the Prarie Girl. It went together very nicely and I really like the finished product. Your fabrics will inspire you to come back to them soon. :)
ReplyDeleteDude- I don't know where it is, but find it soon--you are just too good at your craft!
ReplyDeleteIt's probably a good time to enjoy this beautiful spring for a while before you get sewing again though.
I have the FT Cute Skirt pattern. Those garments will be lovely!
I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I've finally got some time to myself, yet I just don't seem to be able to start any of the projects that I had planned.
ReplyDeleteWith such wonderful inspiration...it will come back! Just wait for it!
ReplyDeleteI am getting my mojo cooking just looking at your goodies. Better get to work before I scoop ya!
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad that skirt is turning out short--it's so cute! Can you add a border or something?
ReplyDeleteI think "laid out" is right.
I know for a person actually reclining on something, it's lie/lay/lain, and then for an object setting on something... lay/laid/laid (I had to look that one up).
That tunic is really cute, too... I can't possibly get away with a waist tie; is there another way to wear it?
