Did I tell you about one of my bosses who was all freaked out because her husband had described someone as being "fat"? I can't remember if I ever told you about that. She was carrying on because "you can't say that". He wasn't being ugly either, he was being descriptive. This person is very very fat and saying so helped to point out which particular person was being discussed. But you know, "fat" is a swear word. It should probably be blocked out and all.
