Procrastinity (n.)

def: Infinite procastination involving multiple sewing projects.

Partly to blame...New patterns to look at and stash from New Look & Simplicity. Such as:

The "I said I'd never wear a jumper again" but OMGaw look at this one channeling Audrey Hepburn...

The Duro that won't Die... (love love love the tie front version!)

Adorable, retro cape jackets...with quite an interesting yoke seam! Go Simplicity!

Not that everything is OMGawTDF. There's the "which is more fugly, my dress or my hair?" pattern:

and the requisite "Mom, exactly what are you growing in the herb pots in the window?" patterns:

All in all an entertaining way to procrastinate. This afternoon I'm going to procrastinate some more by going to see this:

Finally, because I am fascinated by the lolcats phenomenon, I leave you with the funniest damn thing I've seen in a long time. My favorite lolcats:

We saw Bourne on friday...LOVED it! I think I'll go back with my 15 year old (I had to "pre-approve" it first!). Love the kitty pics (we are a cat household).

  2. Hi Jona! Dang if my nephew didn't talk me into I now pronounce you Chuck & Larry...which was so bad it was almost funny. Literally.

Jason Bourne was right next door...that's all I could think about :D

  3. Fun post, loved those patterns also, and I can only imaging my little Lhasas in those doggy costumes...but the cat photos had me rolling on the floor!

  4. I love that black and white dress. In fact, I almost cut that one out on Friday, until I saw it's a pullover- no zip, and I hesitated to cut my good fabric. I'm thinking a muslin is in order to make sure it's going to work for me.
I laughed so hard at the black and white cat, Coke Zero came out of my nose!

  5. meow! spit! spit! they must be female felines. The dress with the sash is purrrfect for church. Is it a sin to look hot in church? nah! The little dog with the sombrero is the funniest thing!
BTW..The bucket pattern I used was McCall 4274

Shannon...I almost drove off the rode the day AFTER I first found that one, because I just had to think about it to start laughing hysterically. It cracks me UP!! See, one more reason we're obviously separated at birth.
