Of course, Modcloth has always specialized in vintage.  I've just associated them more with a 70s/80s  influence, and now it seems the 30s/40s/50s/60s are the focus.  Which is just fine by me!

Beautiful, vintage half slip...an ebay find last month!


It's not perfect, but isn't it lovely?? Can you just imagine this under a swishy skirt?


I might have to replace the top portion with some new nylon tricot, it's a bit dingy. Well-loved and worn often, I suspect!

Lovely half slips. I especially love the ones that have all the embellishments and frippery. That no one ever sees when your clothes are on!!

I think a bunch of vintage inspired slips in a variety of colors is in my near future. And just think how fabulous you'd feel knowing you had such pretty underwear on. It would be like a little secret.
