june burda!

I was surprised to get this one so quick! Shannon had been whining about it, and shazam, it appeared! I really wasn't looking for it for another week at least. There are just a few things I think I'll try from this issue. (Mainly because I'm smack in the middle of weight-loss mode--11 pounds lost!--and I'd rather not fool with fitting issues right now!)

I love love love this top. It looks just like something you would see at anthropologie.

I don't need drawstring/pull on pants. Which means I'll probably make these first:
Ditto an a-line skirt...I already have a perfectly fitted a-line skirt, but I might steal the pocket treatment and cute tie/sash idea. Love this whole styling:

  6. I fell in love with that first top too, it's so light and flowy i love it. Not sure if I can pull it off just yet with my beginner sewing skills.. can't wait to see your version!

  8. 11 pounds!! That's great!! I LOVE that pink ruched top. I haven't the skills to grade it down for me, but I really hope you make it! It would be so adorable!!! I think it is my favorite thing from this month's burda.
