homeskillet.

So, I'm a non-existent blogger this week, huh? That's because I've been on tour.

Just doing some rapping, yo.

(Oh, didn't you know? That's what I teach in high school. Appropriate hat tilt.)

Just kidding! This past week was our senior's last, so it was a bit of an emotional roller coaster (it always is. They make me NUTS the last month, but on the last day I just want to smoosh them all together and cry like a baby.)

To recover, me & my posse went to see this last night:

Soooo cute. I love me some RomCom. (And as StickGirl put it, I do have a thing for the British guys.)

Sure, it's a fairly predictable romantic storyline, with beautiful people and amazing scenery (AMAZING scenery). I really enjoyed the unexpected dry humor sprinkled throughout. I laughed out loud several times.

Amanda Seyfried is beyond adorable and the amazing Vanessa Redgrave is gorgeous!

(Oh, and Christopher Egan is a hottie. )

Perfect rainy weekend movie outing with the girls!

I might actually get something done this week to blog about... I need some new late spring/early summer clothes, that's for sure! I'm sick of everything in my closet. Maybe I'll drag out some BWOF/BS and peruse.

Happy Sunday!

  1. Congrats to your senior class, it is an emotional time! I lose mine on the 26th, with mixed emotion. 2 less classes to teach, but 50 less smiling faces each day. Isn't it fun to be a part of their excitement for the future, though? I like to think that it keeps us young, yo. Peace, out.

  2. Christopher Egan is a hottie. But then, I have a thing for the Britsh guys too (barring my husband, who is not, sad to say, much of a hottie... lucky he's so funny).

My word verificatin is "ungstig". I'm pretty sure I failed that one on my 11th grade German final.

  3. PS that comment about Christopher Egan was a JOKE btw. Since he's, ya know, Australian. (People routinely annoy the crap out of my husband by asking him if he's from Australia.)

Now my word verification is "noodem". Seriously. "Noodem".

I haven't had much going on either, just a long project, which I'm not used to! Glad I'm not the only one who gets sick of everything in my closet!

  6. I just listened to the Sew Forth Now podcast in which Lori interviewed you. I didn't realize you were also from Oklahoma. :) I'm from the Shawnee area, what about you?

    I enjoy your blog.
