    1. I normally don't delete comments, because everyone is entitled to their opinion. Since my 15 year old daughter reads this however, I am removing this comment due to profanity. Please, anon, come back and leave your comment again without the expletive and I'd be happy to share it.

We're the UNITED States of America. United we stand, Divided we fall. Everyone gets an opinion, and everyone gets a vote.

    2. We're fortunate to live in a country in which we are all allowed to participate in and express an opinion about the selection of their leaders. And those leaders, regardless of our personal opinions about them, deserve our respect as elected officials. I've been voting for 25 years so it's easy to work out that my chosen candidate has not won every time I voted. I have not agreed with my representatives on many policy issues. But I will certainly always show them the respect they deserve as duly elected leaders of our country, states, counties and cities. This lack of patriotism that so many people seem to be willing to express makes me sad. Although it's certainly their right.

    3. It would be SUPER awesome if I made my pronouns match when I type stuff. Sadly, this is probably expecting too much.

Yeah! I appreciate a commitment to a united citizenry and power to all -- including the 47%. We all count!
