I'm feeling so positive about tracing I think I'll attempt to get these traced too:
Can't forget the fabulous plus pants in that issue (and possibly the slim skirt):
Whew. That's a lot of tracing! If my eyes hold out, I'll move on to February. I really want to try these dresses:
And these bottoms:
So we don't starve while I'm preoccupied with the Burda Style's, I stuck this garlic chicken recipe in the crock pot. Yum. We'll have buttered (whole wheat) noodles and a veggie (probably broccoli) with ours. Yesterday I stuck a pot roast in the crock pot, so we have the leftovers today to make barbecue beef sandwiches for lunch. Yum again.
I hope you're staying warm and toasty during this massive storm! I'm watching our local news right now and they just got off the phone with a driver who has been stranded in his truck on the interstate in Tulsa since 10 pm LAST NIGHT. Can you imagine?? There are approximately 100 people stranded in regular cars as accurate as they can count at this point. Who knows how many are out there without cell service. Sending them all warm, positive, safe return home thoughts!
I like your picks. My favorite is feb 101. Although I probably have something like it in my stash...both vintage and modern! Did you see Cafe Couture's version of it? I can send link if you need it!
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed that you can trace patterns ahead of time and not sew them up immediately. I work on a "trace then sew" schedule. Hmmm, maybe I'll consider doing it another way.
ReplyDeleteThat's a long list... but, I love them ALL! You are so smart, if I did it your way, I'd do so much more sewing out of Burda! That extra step always makes me choose one of the Big 4 instead. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteIt is scary sometimes how we always seem to like the same things! I want all of these, too!
ReplyDeleteOh scary stuff! I can't wait until Feb. shows up in the local Borders. g
ReplyDeleteStay warm. All that tracing looks very tiring. The sewing bit is so much more fun.s

ReplyDeleteI like your picks too. Most of them I've marked for myself as well. That dress 133, with the sleeves is perfect for a wedding I just found out we are invited to. Now , what to make it in.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how much you can get done when it's snowing outside! Lots of lovely patterns there.
